This project looks into how pattern affects design and colour.
I was asking myself questions and wondering whether the colour helps to see shape or is the pattern more noticeable if the colours are muted and even monochromatic. The main question is - where does the eye wonder off?    
I deconstructed different patterns and artworks and transferred them on the body. The goal was to express contrast between curves, soft forms, and a lot of angles, sharp edges. I took inspiration from artists such as Eileen Agar, Fahrelnissa Zeid, and Michael Buthe.
