For Y/Project
The aim of this project was to create a collaboration with a chosen brand.
Some of the most important things to consider were the brands’ aesthetics, ethos, values, and a unique selling point.
The main inspirations for this project are some quite contrasting imagery. On the one side, it is the softness and liquidity of different species of algae, patterns of water, its’ ripples, a fabric marbling technique called ‘Suminagashi’. And on the other side, it is the stiff lines of typography, different fonts, and graphic design posters.
This resort collection juxtaposes monochrome and vibrant colours, stiffness and softness with the digital graphic details pulling the two themes together.
